Dear Neighbors:

The 19154 5K Race is returning this year, after a six-year hiatus! For years, the race was considered the premier running event in Far Northeast Philadelphia. In 2020, the last year the race was held, it was a tremendous day for our local community, attracting close to 400 runners and walkers! This year, we are preparing for even higher participation. In previous years, many of the runners, walkers, and volunteers came from the 19154 zip code, but many others also hailed from our surrounding neighborhoods.

All proceeds from this race will benefit St. Anselm School and Parish, particularly the youth in Parkwood. Among other expenses, proceeds will be applied to a new HVAC system in Our Lady of Victory Hall gym, where students from 19154 and surrounding neighborhoods participate in sports and other activities throughout the year. All sponsor donations made to St. Anselm Parish are tax-deductible. More specifics about the race are included in the enclosed flyer.

The history of the area encompassed within the 19154 zip code is intimately connected to the history of this thriving parish, and we hope you will support our work of forming responsible young Philadelphians within our neighborhood. We thank you for your time and consideration.
